Today I bought two new lovely 'Hi There from Karen Walker' dresses, on sale! So happy! As pictured above the Tuscany dress and the Beth dress.
I have to say that I am so in love with her dresses! They are the best vintage-style modern dresses that are affordable that I have seen in ages that actually fit well! I tried on about 6 dresses and could have tried on the whole range...I was at the racks thinking 'ooh I like this one, oooh and that one, and that one! And that one!'
I had three in my hands that I definitely wanted to get, but thought this was a bit over the top so I just got these two. I love them! Can't wait to wear them!
The third one I am going to keep looking out for hoping it will pop up on sale somewhere...would like to post a pic of it but can't find one on the web. It was polka dot sailor style....need I say more why I still want it!!!!
Woohoo! Love them. The Tuscany one is my fave of the two. In November I went to a big sale at Myer with my SIL and she tried on this gorgeous 'Hi There' dress but didn't get it... really it was more MY style than hers but given my current belly situation I couldn't even try it. :(

I'm obsessed with Karen Walker! I have lost count of the number of dresses and skirts I own of hers. I also wear her cat and skull rings, her axe girl pendant and M bought me one of her cuffs for Xmas! /fangirl
